More About...
Ellen Jenkyns
Ellen was raised in the local church in the small country town of Merredin, where church was like family, and children were loved and accepted by all church members. After becoming a believer Jesus Christ as a teen, she soon began serving in the church, first in Merredin, and then in Perth as a Sunday School helper. Ellen has always been heavily involved with children’s and youth ministry, both in Perth, in remote areas of the Kimberely, and internationally in Papua New Guinea, India and Myanmar.
Ellen has formal training in linguistics, along with a Diploma of Education and Master of Education specialising in Learning Difficulties and has considerable experience working with children of all different ages and abilities, from kindergarten to senior secondary.

Ellen believes that transformative change comes through knowing Jesus, and that God values children as part of the church body, just as much as adults. Nothing excites her as much as watching children of all ages come to know God and His love for them more deeply.
When she isn’t writing children’s ministry curriculum, running children’s programs, or teaching in the secondary school context, Ellen loves hanging out with her husband Wayne and their three teenage sons, Ethan, Lachlan and Liam.
More About...
Lisa Wilson
Born locally in Armadale, and raised in a musical family, Lisa learned to sing and play the piano at a young age. What began as an opportunity, later became a passion which she pursued to university, where she earned a bachelor degree in classical piano.
Lisa came to an understanding of the gospel and gave her life to Christ as a child. With that decision came a desire to share the gospel with others and to spend her life serving the Lord in some way. During her high school years, she studied the Bible and theology more formally through an online study group and was actively involved in her local church. It was during that time that she met Durham, whom she married in 2016.
Her love of music and desire to serve the Lord in a ministry context came together when she was given the opportunity to lead worship at KBC in late 2021. Now, in the role of Worship Ministry Coordinator, she aims to serve and equip the worship team as they seek to lead the congregation in exalting the name of God among His people and beyond.
