About us

We are a group of people keen to see the Gospel thrive in our own lives and in the lives of those around us.

We value:

  • God above all

  • Sound teaching of the Bible

  • Prayer

  • Spreading the good news

  • Spiritual growth

  • Generosity

  • Being real

We don't much like:

  • Christian jargon

  • Sloppy thinking about God

  • Being boring

  • Wasting our lives

  • Destructive cultural trends and practices

our Worship Ministry Coordinator:
Lisa Wilson

Born locally in Armadale, and raised in a musical family, Lisa learned to sing and play the piano at a young age. What began as an opportunity, later became a passion which she pursued to university, where she earned a bachelor degree in classical piano.

Lisa came to an understanding of the gospel and gave her life to Christ as a child. With that decision came a desire to share the gospel with others and to spend her life serving the Lord in some way. During her high school years, she studied the Bible and theology more formally through an online study group and was actively involved in her local church. It was during that time that she met Durham, whom she married in 2016.

Her love of music and desire to serve the Lord in a ministry context came together when she was given the opportunity to lead worship at KBC in late 2021. Now, in the role of Worship Ministry Coordinator, she aims to serve and equip the worship team as they seek to lead the congregation in exalting the name of God among His people and beyond.
